On the 4th-6th May we will be hosting The Brit Weekender, a three-day bank holiday extravaganza and garden party, featuring an array of family, and dog, friendly events. Love to ride? We have a challenge for you! We are hosting a static bike charity ‘cyclothon’ on all three days to raise money for our local charity, Julia’s House.

We are excited to announce that our Cyclathon will be supported by one of our favourite partners, E-Motion Fitness Hub (a local gym), who will be supplying the static for the weekend. To find out more about them head to https://www.e-motionfitnesshub.com

With proceeds aiding the valuable work of Julia’s House children’s hospice, each day from 10am-6pm we’re inviting you to help us hit a goal of 100km, the equivalent distance of Highcliffe to Lyme Regis, on a static bike. Those who cycle the furthest will be in with a chance to win a complimentary Sunday roast for two at The Britannia, with a total of three up for grabs (1 winner per day).

We are also hosting an array of exciting activities including a dog show, pottery painting, a bank holiday quiz, traditional Morris dancing and more tasty giveaways to be expected, as well as live music and a DJ across all three days in our gorgeous garden area. And don’t forget to keep your eyes on the skies as our outdoor bar will officially open for the summer season.

Paint your own (12-5pm)

Dog bowls, mugs & everything in between – let your imagination go wild! No need to come back and collect your masterpiece, you can take them away on the day.

The Brit’s Bumper Bank Holiday Quiz (6:30-8:30pm)

Gather your friends & family and put your general knowledge to the test. All proceeds go to Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, the very same charity we support with our charity pub quiz which takes place every Sunday at 6.30pm.
