The Britannia | Parkstone

Welcome to The Britannia – we are very excited to be creating a beautiful pub and brasserie here in lower Parkstone. Expect classic country décor with a twist, comfy banquettes, carefully curated spaces and an outdoor fireplace in the huge garden.

Our welcome will be warm and our beer nice and cold – what more could you want? Our dedicated bar will serve draft and craft beers, we have a fabulous wine list and a great choice of cocktails, gins and spritzes. Find yourself a comfy corner with your dog or gather friends round a table in the middle of the bar and just relax and enjoy your time with us.

Our freshly cooked food will be prepared here in the kitchen by skilled chefs who really know their craft. Expect a mix of traditional pub favourites and French classics served by a knowledgeable and friendly team who just want you to have the best time.  We source our meat and fish ethically and from sustainable sources and use award winning butcher to the Royal Family, Aubrey Allen, for our fabulous steaks.

Best wishes from all at The Britannia x

AROUND THE NEIGHTBOURHOOD

If you are visiting the area we are a great pit stop or end-of-the-day chill out venue for walkers, beachcombers and nature lovers alike.  The Poole area is home to the most stunning beaches – the famous Sandbanks beach is just an hour’s walk or less than 10 minutes in the car. Poole Quay (a 40 minute walk) is the starting point for the ferry to the Dorset Wildlife Trust Brownsea Island, an internationally important nature reserve featuring rare wildlife including red squirrels and wading birds.
